Is there any more info that can be provided about how she got into writing for science-fiction? Could someone add more about the substance of some of her original work and common themes, besides exploitation of genetic engineering?--173.72.3.36 (talk) 19:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
There's the Professions Piece for Foundation to which there is a link on the bottom of the entry for Waking The Moon. I'm not sure how to go about adding more info. She definitely deserves a better entry though. Boa05zs (talk) 15:09, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ms. Hand's preference of the US edition of Waking the Moon needs a citation. I believe it was a 1994 Usenet post by Ellen Datlow. --einexile01:45, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thought so. In fact it was a response to questions I'd posted. Linking it for now as Google's archive is relatively permanent, and Datlow's presence on Usenet has been large and verifiable. Will try and find a better source but it's likely none exists. --einexile21:05, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates for books and articles, as well as tables for organising short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue.
