This follows the convention for disambiguated pages for athletes. The current name is not used by any current source, and has never been used by any source appropriate to this person (IAAF, Athletics New Zealand, New Zealand mainstream media). Support Seems a very obvious case. For future reference, if it doesn't seem controversial at all (and this one doesn't), you could simply move the article; maybe leave a rationale on the talk page if it's too long for an edit summary. If there's subsequent controversy about it, a move is easily undone or further tweaked. But now that you've started a formal request, you'll have to let it run its course.
