Overhaul Coming
editI'm planning on overhauling this page -- it's in desperate need.
The page will be split into the following sections:
History - Proposed Bears Stadium - Other controversies
Demographics
Culture
Education
Recreation - (Links to Ned Brown Preserve and Elk Grove Park District)
Notable Residents —Preceding unsigned comment added by D722002 (talk • contribs) 16:15, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Go for it. This page needs to be revamped. I think it's full of information but not very well formatted. --Briguy9876 (talk) 18:31, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Dave Cullen [citation needed]
editI'm (essentially) new to editing so I'm not sure exactly what to do. I know for a fact that he was born and raised in Elk Grove Village (he is my uncle), but what should I do to cite that here (or anything other information that needs to be cited)?
Does this count?

- I took care of it. There is a Daily Herald article there now. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 20:42, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

To-do items
editJotting down a few things I think should be done but not sure how to approach just yet:
- mention that the village is often colloquially known as just "Elk Grove"
- skim this page for any interesting points that aren't already included
- add links to municipal incorporating documents from the Cook County website (wherein interestingly the "Elk Grove" shorthand may have first been mentioned)
- other sources
- general copyedit/rewrite of more sections
- updates with new census data
Not sure how many watchers will see this but if anyone wants to tackle these before I get around to them, feel free to do so! Paradoxsociety 20:35, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
