"The Greek text of Judith"?

edit

"The city is called 'Chellous' (Χελλοὺς) in the Greek text of Judith." Very vague, and the wikilink is probably wrong. I guess Greek = Septuagint, and Judith = the Book of Judith. I have modified the wikilinks accordingly, I just hope there's no other meaning to it. Please, do not just copy & paste from academic sources, or consider everyone to be scholars in the field. Bible (Genesis) and science mishmash

edit

"In the vicinity, according to the Targums, was the desert of Sur with the well at which the angel found Hagar (Genesis 16:7) (see Revue Biblique, 1906, 597)."

Elusa isn't a biblical site, so how is it identified as being near the desert of Sur/Shur? Genesis, modern geography and archaeology don't mix well. At least explain the deduction, or offer a link to the 1906 (!) source. Arminden (talk) 19:01, 25 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
