So glad to see wikipedia ignored the rapid delete request. I tried adding the video footage, but its just a link to it. Sorry. Feb17Libya said that adding footage would help keep page open, so if i've done it wrong, then many apologies. merge Iman al-Obeidi here

There are some useful bits of Iman al-Obeidi that need to be merged here before making that page a redirect. Does anyone have any particular arguments for which transliteration to favour? i'm assuming that we could just go for the Thomson Reuters spelling - Eman al-Obaidi - now. FWIW, Google hit count seems to prefer Iman al-Obeidi at 4,220 over both Emai al-Obeidy (1,660) and Eman al-Obeidi (3,810). The difference is even more significant in Google News (9 vs.3 vs.1 respectively). I suggest that we go with Iman al-Obeidi, arguably the preferred spelling. That said, I think it is easier to merge this page with Iman al-Obeidi. Regards, Cinosaur (talk) 16:49, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

The story is too new for search results to be representative, but choosing a transliteration is no big deal, so we may as well pick one and check if things have changed once April rolls around.
I'm merging Eman al-Obaidi to Iman al-Obeidi in the interests of getting it done as soon as possible. Duplicate article situations are a real pain. --Kizor 17:00, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
