as an alternative hook? There's no need to fail the nomination, as people might still be interested to check out the winner. As a side note @Ætoms, next time you nominated something time-sensitive, request that it be run at a specific date (in this case, before 10 October), to make sure that DYK queue builders know about it (things get buried). –LordPeterII (talk) 16:59, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

I think the new hook is okay but it could be reworded. It seems to focus more on the competition rather than the new emblem. Maybe focus on the fact that the emblem is new and was the result of a competition? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:18, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

It seems that, contrary to previous reports, the new emblem has not been adopted yet. The official emblem will be based on the winning design and is yet to be revealed. The government of Curaçao is currently still using the coat of arms as its logo. — Ætoms ^[talk] 16:57, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

How about a slightly-modified version of ALT1 that doesn't mention that it's been replaced?
