Fort Bernard

edit

The article Fort Bernard seems like it should be mentioned here. I'm trying to de-orphan it, but I'm not sure how to mention it (or perhaps merge it into this).

I rewrote the Fort Bernard article a bit - there is actually a brief but exciting history about the fort (and its predecessor, Fort Platte) and their unsuccessful bid to take business from Fort Laramie. I don't know if its appropriate for a link here, but it should definately be mentioned Fort Platte (and I'll do that now) and probably also mentioned in Fort Laramie. Unruh has a good amount of detail about the competition between the forts during 1845. CosmicPenguin (talkWP:WYOHelp!) 06:10, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
