Image copyright problem with File:What's the use of going through with the Election.JPG
editThe image File:What's the use of going through with the Election.JPG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

- there is no image copyright problem with File:What's the use of going through with the Election.JPG The image is part of Wikipedia already and is obviously relevant to the article. I don't need to try and re-invent the Universe because of some Bot. This is a user-edited encyclopedia, not rocket science. USS BlackDragon (talk) 09:16, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Reliable Sourced (RS) material
editThe pages shown at the flickr.com site (such as this are mostly from the Community of Christ Library and Archives, a reliable source. Should this be explained a certain way in the 'references' or 'footnotes' section of the article? Ron DeGrange (talk) 00:38, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- First, the bare inline links don't have that disclaimer re the real source of the images - perhaps you could fix that, assuming it is verifiable.
- Second, the article contains an excessive amount of raw quotes and Wikipedia is not a collection of quotes. I encourage you to do a re-write with that in mind, especially if you have access to the Reorganized church library for other reliable sources to work with. The current article seems to lack sufficient evidence of notability and may be a candidate for deletion.
- However as some could argue that I have a conflict of interest here, I'll likely leave the article improvement up to you and others. Vsmith (talk) 03:19, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Possible reliable resource: Gracia N. Jones
editGracia N. Jones (a resident of Utah and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is a granddaughter of Emma Smith Kennedy, who in turn was a granddaughter of Joseph Smith, Jr. Mrs. Jones is an author and genealogist, involved in the website http://www.josephsmithsr.com, and one of her blogs is http://www.blogger.com/profile/06124918957549966076. Maybe she can be contacted by an editor, and sources of the utmost reliability (and notability) be provided, such as the already-cited article in Ensign magazine by Gracia N. Jones, and which User:75.167.28.41 removed from the article on 6/12, apparently unaware that the notable article was authored by a close relative of both Emma Hale Smith and Emma Belle Smith Kennedy, thus a reliable and notable source. I'll restore that citation now. Zanzibar, italy (talk) 00:41, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
