editIn the same way that Zelena is listed as an Oz character who was born in the Enchanted Forest, I would think that Emma Swan ought to be listed as a Land Without Magic character who was born in the Enchanted Forest. Nevertheless, I see her listed here as an Enchanted Forest character. To be fair, I could see the argument going either way, despite my preference for seeing her listed as a Land Without Magic character. Thus, I wanted to bring the topic here for discussion. Your thoughts? allixpeeke (talk) 04:48, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
Vandalism
editI'm not exactly sure what's going on here as I haven't seen season 5B yet, can someone revert the vandalism properly if I missed something? nyuszika7h (talk) 08:31, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Someone changed this article. Hope Swan Jones is the name of Emma's daughter. Not Mills. Can someone change this again please? I'm tired of some idiots (Swan queen fans) constantly trying to make their stupid Swan queen world Canon. Verena1999 (talk) 17:20, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
True love vandalism?
editI have seen a few episodes of the show but I don't think that it fits in with WP:Style to have people listed under sig. others as "true love", regardless of the show. Can we come to some sort of agreement here and can we get an admin to please protect these pages as it seems a group of fans have decided to repeatedly vandalize this and related pages. VANDILISIM 6-22-18 marital status & child name
editBlatent untruths have been added to this page.
As of the Once Upon a Time series finale episode, aired in May of 2018, Emma Swan is not divorced from Killian Jones. They are still married. Therefore Emma is certainly not married to anyone else, as the page has been vandalised to imply.
Emma Swan has a child with Killian Jones, and that childs name is Hope Swan-Jones. Nothing else. She is their child, and her canon name (Hope Swan-Jones) was provided in script pages by executive producer Adam Horowitz in the days following the conclusion of Once Upon a Time. They can be found on his Twitter @AdamHorowitzLA. Her name has been vandalised.
People need to keep their "shipping" wishes/fantasies where they belong - off of official Wiki articles that relay the realities of a character, and the facts of the show.
I am unable to edit away these lies at present. The page says protected from vandalism - odd, since it was vandalised today. Could an actual editor please address this vandilisim? It's ridiculous. Thank you. Ost2011 (talk) 16:21, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
I was just about to comment that. I saw someone already deleted the "divorced" status, thankfully. However, the child's name is still wrong. She's Hope Swan-Jones, and the child is Killian's. There are, as previously mentioned, the script pages and also the fact that those two characters are canonically married, go back to Storybrooke to raise THEIR baby together (7x02) and appear together in the finale, wearing their wedding rings, with Killian carrying the baby and even Emma calling him her son's step dad. This is where the show went. Some people refuse to accept canon and it's actually embarrassing on their part. Please, whoever is in charge, fix this issue, as it can be quite misleading and ban whoever previously vandalised the page so it won't happen again. Charitini97 (talk) 16:53, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
UPDATE: Both bits of false information have been removed, and corrected back to their proper, factual standings. THANK YOU.
Hopefully such unnecessary and obvious silliness can avoid being repeated in the future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 17:33, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
Vandilism 6-22-28: Almost There, CHILDS NAME NEEDS FIX
editSomeone, thankfully, addressed the blatantly false vandalism that was added to Emma Swan's spouse/marital status yesterday.
However, her second child's name - which is Hope Swan-Jones, NOT Hope Swan-Mills, per the official reality and canon of the show (Once Upon a Time) - has not yet been fixed. If an editor with that ability could do so, it would clean this whole unecessary mess up.
I noticed that the user responsible for this vandalism seems to frequently edit this page. Given that their latest addition made were bald-faced lies, ones easily disproven by the actuality of the source, perhaps this users ability to make contributions and edits to the Emma Swan page ought to be assessed by an admin. Offical Wiki articles are no place for fandom nonsense. Ost2011 (talk) 17:09, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
Update: Both fixed. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 17:29, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
Vandilisim 6-23-18: AGAIN same falsehood, same user
editThe same vandalizer from yesterday has, yet again, edited the name of Emma Swan and Killian Jone's child to a lie.
Her name is Hope Swan-Jones. Not Mills. In no reality is that her name, and the user in question needs to get a grip and accept that. This is about the official character of Emma Swan, and the official show Once Upon a Time. And officially, the fact is, Emma Swan's daughters name is Hope Swan-Jones, something a particular editor can't seem to respect.
Why on earth are they still being permitted to repeatedly vandalize this page? Should someone purposefully spreading misinformation be allowed to continue to do so? I think not. I hope an admin will address this childish and pitiful absurdity soon.
So if someone could, again, fix the lies being added to this page, that would be great. This is not a fan wiki, this is not a "shipping" platform. This is is an official Wikipedia article - those reflect truth. Not fallacies or delusions. Ost2011 (talk) 00:42, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

Please change the name of Emma Swan's daughter from Hope Swan-Mills to Hope Swan-Jones as that is the canon name on the show. Kktjones (talk) 03:01, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.--QueerFilmNerdtalk 03:14, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
The show is the reliable source.
Other than providing episodes of the show as proof (Once Upon a Time episodes 6x20, 7x02, 7x22), what more can people cite as a source about a character on a tv series? Please advise, so we can have that lie edited out and put today's silliness to bed.
Besides, what source is there that allows someone to change Hope Swan-Jone's name to Mills? There is none. Because that isn't her name. That is a fact. Someone is adding lies, presumably to cause unecessary drama.
Hope has no biological or marital component, as a character, that would make her surname any version of Mills, a fact that the reality within and outside of the show provides. Adding Mills is complete, unfounded fabrication.
That edit is allowed, but protecting this page from biased editors that deliberetly inject lies isn't? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 03:27, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- Done But there's no need to be rude.--QueerFilmNerdtalk 03:50, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
I apologize, I didn't intend to be rude, truly - I've always been one of those unintentionally blunt/abrasive folks, unfortunately. I do try to word things in a way that avoids that.
Also, the back and forth on this page today has been fraying my nerves a bit. Anyway, thank you so much for editing in the correct name. It's much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 04:01, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
I was not gone 20 minutes, and the SAME USER has now edited Emma Swan's stats to remove her spouse, husband Killian Jones (as per the official show) completely AND has changed Hope's name back to the false name they have been injecting onto this page for the last 2 days, the one that was edited back to the correct name not half an hour ago.
Can something be done about this? Is this allowed? Can this person be reported? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 04:21, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
Vadalism 6-24-18: same user, SAME false info
editThe same user who has been adding incorrect information to Emma Swan's stats since yesterday has done so yet again.
They continue to edit the name of Emma Swan's 2nd child, her daughter, to a name that is not hers. Her name is Hope Swan-Jones, per the official show. Her father is Emma's husband, Killian Jones. She has no biological or marital connection to Regina Mills, therefore Mills is not in any way part of her name.
This is the 4th time the same person has done this in just 2 days, on top of adding 2 other falsehoods and trying to remove Emma's husband from her stats totally. Can nothing be done to prevent this continued vandalism? Ost2011 (talk) 04:27, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- I'm going to request protection on the page.--QueerFilmNerdtalk 04:47, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
Thank you, QueerFilmNerd. That seems like a prudent course of action.
I looked into reporting continued vandalism/edit warring, but tbh I found the method confusing and intimidating. I'm newely registered, but have edited anonymously before, but that looked like a whoooole other ball game.
I don't get why Emma's stats aren't left alone. Emma Swan's husband is Killian Jones, her daughter is Hope Swan-Jones. Whoever likes it or dislikes it, that's the reality Once Upon a Time delivered, and that's what official Wikipedia articles display: facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 04:58, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
Vandalism discussion- scenes that prove of Emma's marital status and daughter's name
editRegarding the vandalism of marital status and child name, here is what we actually saw on the show.
S06E20 "The song in your heart": Emma canonically marries Killian Jones
S07E02 "A Pirate's life": •Emma discuss the possibility of a second chance in motherhood with Killian and htey share a kiss. (still married) • Wish Hook said to Killian "I know you are to be a father" when he learned about Emma's pregnancy. •Emma talks about her AND Killian being new to parenting. •Emma and Killian share a kiss, and they still wear their wedding rings. (still married) •Because of Emma's pregnancy, her and Killian go back to Storybrooke to raise THEIR child togetheir and safely. They both put their hands over their baby in Emma's stomach before jumping to a portal back home.
S07E22 "Leaving Storybrooke" (series finale) •Emma and Killian arrive at the coronation together, still wearing their wedding rings. (still married) •Killian holds their newborn daughter, canonically referred to as Hope. •They hold hands and Killian embraces her and the baby as the scene ends, clearly indicating they are a family.
(Additional: after the finale some script pages got released. There was a part that said: "ON THE BABY--HOPE SWAN JONES. Impossibly cute", which basically solved the debate on whether it was Hope Jones or Hope Swan-Jones. "Mills" was never a possibility.)
All these scenes can be found on YouTube with a simple search of the episode number and character names. It is what it is, some people like it and some don't but it's canon. I don't know what more proof we can give apart from the actual, canonical scenes of the show. I know now it's changed back to normal but I saw both the child's name and Emma's marital status with Killian being changed quite a few times in the last hours so I just wanted to post some proof for future use. Charitini97 (talk) 06:32, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
@Ingise:, you cannot keep reverting us. You are fighting facts.--Harmony944 (talk) 16:20, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Vandalism 6-25-18 - REPEATED vandalism by SAME USER since 6-22-18
editI am growing tired of this.
One particular user is insisting on continuously editing this page to reflect blatent falsehoods.
We have provided proof of the characters statuses - the shows context and actual facts. It's all there in the show itself. Why is this person still being permitted to edit in lies?
I understand that this person has a personal agenda: that much is clear by the insistance with which they are vandalizing this page. But whatever their dissatisfaction with the realities of the character of Emma Swan, her daughter (with Killian Jones) Hope Swan-Jones, and the narrative conclusion of Once Upon a Time, this is not the place for it.
Wikipedia articles reflect actualities, not fan fantasies (fan FALACIES, in this case), and it certainly is not a place to hash out "shipper" grievances or wage "fandom wars."
Can we put a stop to this? It's been 3 days now. Can this SINGULAR user not be reported for insistent vandalism? Edit warring? Could someone more Wiki-savvy than me lend a hand, or advise how best to keep this from happening? Ost2011 (talk) 16:47, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
- In fact, I did put a stop to this. I contacted an admin (NeilN) on his talkpage. He banned her for a week, and warned her that it will be indefinite if she comes back and picks up where she leaves off.--Harmony944 (talk) 17:02, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Oh my word, bless your cow, honor on your cow, @Harmony944! Lol. Thank you.
This whole 3 day back and fourth was absurd, and wholly unnecessary. I'm glad to hear it will (hopefully) stop here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ost2011 (talk • contribs) 17:17, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
