Contested deletion
editI contest the nomination for speedy deletion. I'm sorry but I'm still not seeing any blatant copyright violations. There is some close paraphrasing that should probably be edited a bit and cited but there are only so many ways to say things like "This system is composed of these parts..." The article definitely needs help but based on what I have found it's not a blatant copyvio that needs to be deleted. Specific details of infringement should be listed if these allegations are going to be continued to be leveled. --ElKevbo (talk) 23:41, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Here:
- "Emory Healthcare is Georgia's largest and most comprehensive health care system." > [1]
- "The Emory Healthcare system encompasses The Emory Clinic; Emory University Hospital; Emory Crawford Long Hospital, Emory's Midtown hospital; Emory University Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital; Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna; Emory-Children's Center; Wesley Woods Center; and the Emory HCA Hospitals (Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Emory Eastside Medical Center)." > [2]
- "The Emory Clinic, a patient care practice of more than 980 specialists, sub-specialists and primary care physicians" > [3]
- What's left in the article after that? Best - CharlieEchoTango 23:55, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Meh. Those strike me more as sloppy work rather than malicious or willful copyright infringement. The second doesn't bother me at all as there aren't too many other ways to say the same thing. I'll rewrite the other two to assuage your concerns, though; no big deal. ElKevbo (talk) 01:23, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- Done editing. Are there other concerns or does that take care of things? ElKevbo (talk) 01:31, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Disclaimer
editThis is my full disclosure that I am an employee of Emory Healthcare and am getting paid to make edits to the Emory Healthcare page on Nov. 10, 2014. We only anticipate making a couple of changes, and that has to do with the fact that the Emory Healthcare Brand and internal structure has changed over the past couple of years. We have acquired new practices and other affiliations listed no longer exist. Also, the name of the company and the company logo is out of date. Emory Healthcare went through a re-branding initiative in 2013 and I have inserted the new official logo.

editThis is my full disclosure that I am an employee of Emory Healthcare and am getting paid to make edits to the Emory Healthcare page on Dec. 29, 2014. These changes were more than a minor edit, but we tried to include sources for everything. Mainly, we wanted to establish the info box on the right which wasn't there before, as well as clean up some of our hospitals and affiliations since we have gained new hospitals and cut ties with others.

Number of hospitals
editThere is ambiguity as to whether there are 11 or 10 hospitals. The source claims 11 hospitals, but their "Find a location" only lists 10. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryanlemminglee (talk • contribs) 14:19, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
