Article listed on WP:VFD Jul 13 to Jul 23 2004, consensus was to keep and list on cleanup. Discussion:

Appears to be a book blurb from a magazine -possibly copyvio. Mostly undecipherable. --Rmhermen 04:24, Jul 13, 2004 (UTC)

  • Hmm... keep if it's a well-known book, but shouldn't this redirect to Emperor Norton? ;) - Mustafaa 05:32, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete and start again: The author is well known, and the book sold, so either delete and wait for an author to create anew or send to Clean Up and hope for the best. Rename, in any case, to Emporer of America (book) to avoid confusion. Geogre 13:11, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • keep: email source - publisher's weekly - with wikipedia's boilerplate email and ask permission...depending on answer - modify (remove ISBN #'s?) include internal links.
  • keep. Both copyvio and undecipherable are problems for cleanup, not deletion. The Steve 06:22, Jul 16, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. List on cleanup. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 23:14, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I removed the nonsense about the "honorary political office", as it seems to be little more than a private joke. sjorford 12:38, 14 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Emperor of america.jpg

edit

Image:Emperor of america.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
