The result of the move request was: redirect the page to Chronic kidney disease, uncontroversially, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 06:51, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
End stage renal disease → End stage renal disease (disambiguation) – WP:TWODABS, WP:DIFFCAPS, also a bit of WP:DABCONCEPT if you consider what the condition is that the all-caps U.S. government program addresses. bd2412 T 21:28, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose the proposed change and instead support redirecting directly to chronic kidney disease. The similar redirect end-stage renal disease already points there and this should point to the same place. The federal program is called the End Stage Renal Disease Program and it's not really a proper use of disambiguation to have it here, any more than making flood a disambiguation page with the National Flood Insurance Program would be. If it's desirable to disambiguate, a hatnote at the target would suffice, and that would catch the hyphenated form as well. 209.211.131.181 (talk) 23:24, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- I have no objection to that solution. As it stands, it is an uncommonly silly disambiguation page. bd2412 T 00:52, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
