Content resembles the website
editParts of this article are written almost exactly like the info section of the EndeavourOS website. It is telling a story as opposed to being encyclopedic content. I’ve added an advert tag to the top of the article. Electron2.0 (talk) 01:32, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Even though I agree with that as an ex-Antergos and now EndeavourOS user ^^

- This article is a bit sad to see in its current state. I understand that there's not really a lot to be said about Linux distributions that provide fairly thin customizations around another; I don't deny Endeavour is notable in general but as it is primarily a thin wrapper around Arch and other associated software with its own, prominent brand, calling attention to the features it gets "for free" does not accurately describe Endeavour. Remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising front.
- If this article needs to be shorter, I am personally completely fine with that. Endeavour is used by many people and is one of the first distributions that most newcomers will be recommended c. 2023. Its history and attempts at creating its own value do need to be documented. Despite that, mentioning features that are not unique to Endeavour such as KDE Plasma's settings app and customizations, or disputable notions not remotely grounded in fact such as claims about its hardware requirements, do this article an overall disservice.
- As an avid Linux user it honestly pains me to see. I want to see Endeavour flourish as a project, but advertising it on Wikipedia isn't the right way to go about it. To any editors who want to contribute to this article in the future, if you feel the need to say something is "simple" or "lightweight" or anything else of the sort, please just... don't. There's a link to the home page of the distro right up top. If you want to help it grow, contribute to the team directly. https://github.com/endeavouros-team
