Bond Default

edit

There is a huge lack of information about the history of WPPSS and the bond default here in wikipedia. I believe redirecting the WPPSS page to this page does not do this major issue justice. In fact, this page only references this old information and says little about the current status of Energy Northwest. Unless I hear otherwise. I am going to remove the delete and re-write both articles. If you ignore history you are doomed to repeat it. Brosq (talk) 22:03, 27 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This Wikipedia entry is a joke. Like you said, no mention of the bankruptcy, and the fact that 30,000 bondholders only got 30 cents to 60 cents on the dollar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.151.43.76 (talk) 22:38, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. I even heard on an "expert" on a radio show recently saying there had really been no municipal bond defaults since Arkansas stopped paying during the Great Depression. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=133413803 Now, that my be purely state bonds, but omitting WPPSS means that history is indeed not being remembered. Agreed. Added information about the court ruling, which paved the way for the final default. Digital20 (talk) 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Unfinished Nuclear Plants

edit

The Satsop Nuclear Power Plant and WNP-3 and WNP-5 (which are the same facility) redirect to this page. Unfortunately, this page makes very little mention of the unfinished plants, instead focusing on the power agency. Perhaps a redirect to a page specifically about the plant would be more appropriate. Maybe somebody who is more familiar with the history of the site could create one? Cascade1988 (talk) 17:51, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Cascade1988Reply

Any new article should probably be created over the Satsop Nuclear Power Plant title, but it may make more sense to start by adding material to this page about that facility, and split if there's ever enough to stand alone. This page has some basic information about the site and links to other pages as well. Ibadibam (talk) 23:45, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
