Suggestions for expansion
editThis article could also cover Alternative energy indexes, California electricity crisis, Spot market#Energy spot, the highly competitive market system and market structure of energy supply, Crude oil as a price-inelastic commodity and details of markets in China, USA and Europe. - 12:12, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
Dubious
editThe reference [7] to http://selectusa.commerce.gov/industry-snapshots/energy-industry-united-states doesn't look like a primary source. The fact - that the energy industry is the third largest in the US - might be true but the reference is not convincing. This reference: https://eresearch.fidelity.com/eresearch/markets_sectors/sectors/sectors_in_market.jhtml would indicate that Energy is the second largest based on Market Capitalization.
