compatibility problems of EMS
editI'm having difficulties finding citations about the compatibility problems of EMS, especially between carriers. I think this is related to the lack of information available about EMS overall. From my experience working in the inter-carrier messaging industry, EMS messages received on devices that do not support EMS will appear as unreadable, badly corrupted SMS messages due to the content of the message that is not 7-bit GSM. EMS messages are also unreliable when sent between carriers, as in many cases the inter-carrier network will not forward the message on, or the message will be dropped at the receiving carrier. I strongly encourage anyone with more information or who is able to locate citations to improve the article. Alereon (talk) 17:16, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
"In some countries, EMILY'S messages" - is this supposed to be EMS messages? 17:10, 23 January 2012 (EST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.108.200.56 (talk)
