- Would a better link for Prez of Georgetown College be President and Directors of Georgetown College?
- No, the President and Directors is the corporate name for the university. Georgetown University was once known as Georgetown College, hence the different name of the president's office, but it was still the same office. Ergo Sum 18:47, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "suppressed Society of Jesus" definite sea of blue here. Probably need to link "Society of Jesus" prior to this and then have "suppressed Society of Jesus" as one piped link.
- I've rephrased. Ergo Sum 18:48, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "unsuccessful, due to" no need for that comma.
- Removed. Ergo Sum 18:49, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "on May 15, 1780 in" comma after the year.
- "teach rudiments to " is there a link for this?
- I don't think so. It's just one of those old English words for which there's no perfect modern equivalent. Ergo Sum 18:50, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- " in 1805. The following year, he entered the Society of Jesus on October 10, 1806" not sure you need to include 1806 as you've already said "the following year" and "1805".
- "on March 12, 1808 in " comma after year.
- "Beeston in 1809,[16] he was appointed" -> "Beeston in 1809,[16] Fenwick was appointed" (lost track of who "he" is here).
- Clarified. Ergo Sum 18:52, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "He oversaw work that began in 1806 and continued until 1812,[18] before being halted by the War of 1812,[15] and resuming in 1815. Work was completed in 1821.[18] " maybe split after "War of 1812" so the five-word sentence is avoided.
- Rephrased. Ergo Sum 18:53, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "episcopate" any link?
- "and [3] his " very odd ref placement.
- evaluated as "wretched." probably needs attribution since it's such a scathing review!
- Attributed. Ergo Sum 18:56, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "placing ads in" ads is a little too colloquial here.
- Advertisements it is. Ergo Sum 18:56, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "baxter was" B
- In previous articles you've linked humanities, rhetoric etc.
- Fair enough. Linked. Ergo Sum 18:57, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- " little English and" no need to link, particularly as you've mentioned it already in a different context without linking.
- Lots of Fenwicks (Enoch, Edward, Benedict...) any relation to one another??
- It's quite likely that he was related to Edward, but I find no mention of that. I already state his relationship with Benedict earlier in the article. Ergo Sum 18:58, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- "on November 25, 1827 at" comma after year.
- "President of Georgetown University" in the suc-box yet "President of Georgetown College" in the text... mildly confusing.
- Good catch. Ergo Sum 18:59, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
That's all I have, typically good work. On hold. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 09:06, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- @The Rambling Man: Thank you, as always. I think I've addressed all your points. Ergo Sum 19:00, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Looks fine to me so I'm happy to promote. Good work. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 19:46, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
