Go over this article with a fine-tooth comb to spot missing prepositions. Consider the suggestions from GA1, which seems unplombed as a source of ways to improve the page. Ping me when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:34, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.
GA1
editLook at the comments in Talk:Entre el Mar y una Estrella/GA1, which seems untouched as a source of potential improvement. The comments about charts and awards tables seem to still be valid; there is no release history section, if that is necessary.

edit- The track is a pop ballad that deals with lost love and the song was dedicated to her former lover Alfredo Díaz Ordaz who died in 1993. Commas, please! The track is a pop ballad that deals with lost love and was dedicated to her former lover, Alfredo Díaz Ordaz, who died in 1993.
- The song received positive reactions from music critics who found it to be a gentle ballad. Add comma after "critics"
- During this time, the singer started recording her sixth album, claiming that, "she wanted to prepare a quality product, so it took almost a year to make it. It's true that it took a while but it worth the wait, because it comes as the album title says, 'triumphing' strongly internationally'" The comma after "claiming that" is not needd
- This is attributed by the article to Rosario Valeriano of EMI México. It is not something the singer said.
- "It worth the wait" is missing a word.
- Thalía also commissioned a song for the album from her friend Marco Flores who has written songs for the artist since she was part of Timbiriche music group in the 1980s. Add a comma after "Flores" and maybe remove "music group"
- You can just say "Miami" instead of "Miami, Florida".
- Add commas to help reading:
This was the second song that Thalía dedicated to Ordaz, after "Sangre" in 1992. Thalía would later re-record "Entre el Mar y una Estrella" as a banda track, which was included on her compilation album Thalía con banda: Grandes éxitos (2001).
- Sample box:
According The Monitor's Vilma Maldonado, the song "beings with ethnic signing from the soul similar to tribal music"
You're missing a "to", and "beings" should be "begins" - The visual was nominated in the category of Best Clip of the Year in the Latin field at the 2000 Billboard Video Music Awards, but lost to "Ritmo Total" (1999) by Enrique Iglesias. It also received a nomination at the 2000 El Premio de la Gente in the category of Video of the Year; but lost to "Atado a Tu Amor" by Chayanne. The comma is wrong (WP:CINS), and the semicolon is even more wrong. No punctuation needed there.
- The song is said to stand out due to its emotional depth, powerful lyrics, and Thalía’s soul-stirring vocals. Said by whom? And what makes OldTimeMusic reliable?
- A remix version by Pablo Flores was featured the remix album missing "on" and maybe redundant "remix"?
- EMI Latin was suspected of performing payola and after further investigation Add comma after "payola"
- According to Notimex, it reached number one in Costa Rica, and reached the top-ten in Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, and Venezuela. No need for the comma after Costa Rica (WP:CINS)
- Fix "number number five"
Sourcing and spot checks
editEncouragement: Did you know you can clip NewspaperArchive pages just like Newspapers.com? For instance, see [1]. If you have an NPA account, you can access the clippings you make while signed in outside of the proxy ([2]) and link to them.
- 2: Mentions her appearances in Rosalinda and Mambo café.
- 9: Album notes I can't check.
- Instead checking 33, an announcement that Billboard was investigating accusations of spot buys with this song mentioned as one of the outliers.
- 12: Brand as director (and nominated too).
- 16: Best Clip (Latin) award to Iglesias.
- 18: Official listing of winners. (A rare acceptable use of a press release.)
Media
editThere is a 15-second song sample and album art, both with NFUR. Encouragement: Add alt text for the image.
- Thanks for the review! I will get to work on this either Sunday or Monday. @FanDePopLatino: to let you know the review is up in case you want to tackle some of the issues brought up. Erick (talk) 14:27, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- I did the grammar corrections. I will try to get more stuff done on this article over the weekend so that we can get it to meet the criteria and become a good article. FanDePopLatino (talk) 01:57, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks FanDePopLatino for making the fixes! @Sammi Brie: In regards to the Notixmex, per this discussion, they can only be mentioned in the prose. As for the awards table, I personally do not see a need for one since all the awards are already mentioned in the prose, but if FanDePopLatino wants to include them, that's absolutely fine by me. Erick (talk) 22:37, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Wow, OldTimeMusic was added to the spam blacklist just in the last few days because apparently it's been usurped by AI content generation. @Magiciandude and FanDePopLatino: there is one last pendiente in this review. Please ping me directly when it has been repaired.
- The "quality product" quote is not Thalia. It is EMI México's Rosario Valeriano. This needs fixing.

- @Sammi Brie: Done. I also added the accolades in a table. Please let me know if I need to reword anything else before your final review. Thanks! FanDePopLatino (talk) 14:22, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
