Name of page
editShouldn't this page be called "Environment (disambiguation)"? In my opinion, the natural environment page should be called Environment. Eatanorange (talk) 15:15, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- Since "Environment" is a word used in a number of different contexts and not simply for the natural environment or the biophysical environment it is best to keep this as the primary disambiguation page. I would like to see a single word that means "biophysical environment" ("bioment", "biophysiment"??) It would save a lot of confusion between ecology and environment. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 19:42, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- This is clearly a disambiguation page. According to Wikipedia: disambiguation, there are three scenarios for disambiguation pages. I think this page conforms to the first scenario (Joker), so that it is not necessary that the term "disambiguation" appears in the title. I think, nevertheless, that the lead paragraph is no longer necessary or even useful, so I will proceed to suppress it, unless there is some sound reason against it.--Auró (talk) 22:21, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
