Environmental sensitivity is a term used by the CHRC in Canada to describe a group of illnesses characterized by sensitivity/reactions to one's surroundings. No. Seems to be an odd Canada-specific use of the term as an umbrella concept, properly covered at Disability in Canada. Alexbrn (talk) 06:14, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

Great, you can use a search engine! All the more reason for my hatnote being useful (which you deleted), so that confused readers can find the right article. In some of them, "Environmental Sensitivity" is MCS; in others, not. Alexbrn (talk) 06:45, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

You were very clear that environmental sensitivity does not mean multiple chemical sensitivity, therefore referring readers this way would be misleading. I was very clear about the meaning in one source, yes. Other sources say different things. The situation is messy and such things as hat notes help our readers. I would oppose the creation of a new page and caution against it; in general, look to MeSH for globally accepted terms usable for Wikipedia headings on bio/medical topics.
