Medical uses
editI am a layman, so I am making a suggestion rather than having anything to offer. As it stands, the "Medical uses" section mentions almost nothing about actual medical uses - it is mostly a list of the shortcomings in various situations. Don't use it for this, don't use it for that. It would be better if this section included more information about where this technique is actually helpful. --Gronk Oz (talk) 15:28, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
FDA
editI think it is important to point out that ESIs are NOT FDA approved and there is a lack of data on if benefits outweigh risks. There are many peer reviewed journal articles that address concerns in depth such as JAMA. 2600:1700:DED0:5180:DD50:385:5F10:624B (talk) 06:54, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
