Hi Dddonald, great job expanding this article! I can see from your sandbox that you plan on adding even more content, which is exciting. I have some additional advice to enhance the article as it currently exists.

  • The lead is supposed to be a synopsis or abstract of the rest of the article, meaning that you shouldn't have any content up there that isn't also represented in the remainder of the article. Currently, however, the lead mentions how the organization dissolved and was reconstituted, a fate that is not further discussed. This will be fixed when you move in the Failure and success content!
  • When you move additional content over, you'll want to make sure that your section titles are in "Sentence case" rather than "Title Case". This is a Wikipedia policy for internal consistency. So instead of the section title "Failure and Success", it would be "Failure and success"
  • For structuring the article, the External links section will go below the References section. This is another policy for internal consistency of an article's layout (MOS:LAYOUT)
  • You can remove the bolding from the photo caption. Bolding is only used in a few specific circumstances
  • You can consider including more links--I think that linking "Anti-suffragists" to the article on Anti-suffragism would help the reader navigate between related concepts, for instance

Let me know if you have any questions about this feedback. I'm looking forward to the sections you've yet to add! Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:34, 24 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Elysia (Wiki Ed). Your feedback is very helpful. I'm glad you saw the content in my Sandbox. You can see that I have several additional sections planned. Thanks for the tip about title case and bolding. I'll watch out for that. And you're right about linking. I'm going to look at that next. I'll fix the arrangement of the references and additional readings, too. I only wish I had more time to devote to this project! dddonald (talk) 14:02, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I added a red link for Ms. Crenshaw. After reading this article I read up a bit on her—she should have an article! Hopefully red-linking her name will catch the eye of someone who’s interested in telling the world about her. ScoutHarris (talk) 21:46, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Just wanted to let you know that I'm no longer actively editing this page. I hope you'll have a chance to improve the article by adding some of the related content you've added to other pages. Great contributions! dddonald (talk) 16:54, 15 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
