Factual error
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. Editorial reasons (see below) |
Unfortunately there is a serious factual error in the first paragraph, and this should be corrected.
The actual situation is as follows:
Artexis Belgium manages exhibition halls and organizes exhibitions in Belgium. Artexis Nordic does likewise in the Nordic region. EasyFairs organizes trade shows internationally. --EdWalker58 (talk) 21:20, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think it is now correct. While there is a strong connection between the two topics (Eric and his firm) and a need to tell the reader what Artexis Group is, I felt we were crossing the line where we were starting to talk about Artexis instead of Eric specifically.
- I also added an infobox. It could use a caption describing where he is in the image, a birth-date, birth-place, and nationality. Though everyone has different opinions on how to handle COI, I would encourage you to fill out the infobox directly.
- If anything else comes up, feel free to ping me. CorporateM (Talk) 21:45, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks again for your constructive assistance. This exercise has provided an interesting insight into the workings of Wikipedia. However, I am not discouraged, in fact I would be interested in participating in other projects. Meanwhile I have completed the infobox. --EdWalker58 (talk) 12:05, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'm glad you're not discouraged. Feel free to call on me anytime. CorporateM (Talk) 22:38, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
