Disambiguation
editI think we need to make a disambiguation page for Eric Peterson and move this page to Eric Peterson (TV Actor) or something similar, as there is an Eric Peterson who is a musician.
- Please sign your comments. My understanding is a disambiguation page is generally not allowed unless there are at least 3 articles of the same name. And Eric Peterson the actor was active long before Eric Peterson the musician, so therefore he qualifies to have his name alone without a disambiguation definer. However I will add a "dab statement" to the article itself. 23skidoo 13:53, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's not the oldest person who gets the main article, it's the most notable. And since there are three, and that's the rule (as you understand it), I agree with the original poster that there should be a dab page. Anchoress 14:26, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup tags
editI added the tone cleanup tag because the article right now reads like a valentine. Please discuss on the talkpage before removing it. Anchoress 14:26, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, the whole article was pretty much an unwikified copyvio, so I rewrote it. Not the best job I've ever done on an article, but it's the best I could do at the moment with the sources I could find. Better than what was there before anyways. If it still reads like a valentine, I might have to send myself back to the little white-padded room... =D Cheers, CP 02:06, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, great job! So that text was a copyvio? It really sounded like it to me, but when I googled some of the text WP was the only hit that came up. Glad my gut wasn't wrong. The new version looks good to me; I'm not sure if bolding the character names is MoS, but not a biggie. Thanks for doing that!! Anchoress 03:35, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:EricPeterson.jpg
editImage:EricPeterson.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
