Proposed deletion
editI have removed the proposal for deletion. It is true Eric Syddique's membership of the local council is not notable. His notability stems from his former position as chief executive of a quite significant national organisation, the Electoral Reform Society, and possibly also to his involvement in the governance of some other national bodies such as Chatham House and the Hansard Society. -- Alarics (talk) 22:05, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input into the article, which has improved it. I remain concerned about notability. The citations are all primary sources or very passing references. There's nothing here that supports the basic WP:GNG criterion. Bondegezou (talk) 16:47, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
