Notability
editSig RS coverage not found link, just passing mentions.
Successful completion of missions (sorties flown, # of enemy aircraft shot down, etc) is not part of SOLDIER. A MilHist RfC on this topic has failed to gain consensus in May of 2017:
Hence the redirect. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:02, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- On further inspection, the subject did command a number of air wings. However, I consider SOLDIER to be rather generous when it comes to air wings. The equivalent unit for land forces would be a division, commanded by a general. Since the commanders are almost never generals, the air wings seem to be closer to regiments when it comes to assuming notability for commanders. In any case, the article is completely unsourced and is better as a redirect. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:17, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
