Clarification Needed
edit"It is claimed he was a supporter of Nazis in spite of his Jewish ancestry, which was an open secret.". Then a few paragraphs down, it states that he was murdered and "most likely because his Jewish origin was found out by the Nazis' secret police.". It's OR to speculate, but most articles do that, the problem is that it looks like it's saying that his Jewish ancestry was an open secret AND that the SA (whom he was lending money too) only found out years later. I'm confused, which is it? 124.168.203.35 (talk) 14:25, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- Hello, I'm late to this comment but I agree. This wiki article seems far fetched and it's claims aren't met with reliable sources. Hitler's speech teacher was jewish and that was an open secret? Seems doubtful. If true what is the source. Popish Plot (talk) 19:42, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
- I see this source http://www.salon.com/2002/02/27/hanussen/ says it wasn't an open secret and in fact an actual secret, says if Hitler had known he would have disposed of Hanussen. Popish Plot (talk) 19:48, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

Mind reading = muscle reading?
editThe 1st sentence in section Career was: "After World War I, Hanussen performed a mind reading, muscle reading, and hypnosis act at La Scala in Berlin that catapulted him to stardom." In the WP-article muscle reading it says "mind-reading is nothing but muscle-reading." So what the magician announces as mind-reading, the specialist will call muscle reading. That's why i deleted "muscle reading" in the 1st sentence. If somebody knows better, go ahead an revert - but then please explain yourself here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Herbmuell (talk • contribs)
