Talk:Erik von Markovik

There is a discrepancy regarding his year of birth (the year of birth category contradicts the details provided in the infobox) - is it 1971 or 1974? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.126.135.229 (talk) 17:27, 21 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also his name is capitalized inconsistently: "von Markovik" in the article name and "Von Markovik" in the text. 2605:6000:EE4A:2900:907E:B8AD:F6E:9CCA (talk) 01:53, 25 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Official website list two photos, one of which is Wikipedia-like. The other is quietly different and Fortunately, on the web there aren't yet photos of past car accidents.

The semi-"sosia" picture is also shown in the current instagram profile wich shares the name "askmistery".

Last three paragraphs

edit

The last three paragraphs display poor English, thoughts that do not make much sense, words that have dubious meaning, and badly quoted words. Should be totally redone. Alexandermoir (talk) 02:54, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Citation 14 is bogus

edit

Citation 14 connects to a stub of an article about something called "Mistery Method" that appears to pertain to urinary infections. As I noted earlier, the entire last half of the bio section is spurious and poorly done. Alexandermoir (talk) 02:57, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Citation 11 is from a racist source

edit

Citation 11 is from a Neonazi hate site and is only quoted to refer to someone as being Jewish for an arbitrary reason. This is the third egregious error I've found in 10 minutes reading this terrible article. Alexandermoir (talk) 03:00, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced and unlikely claim about rape and jail

edit

There is an unsourced anonymous claim about Eriks legal issues and imprisonment, but I couldn't find anything about this on the internet. On the contrary, this source from March 2018 claims this

Where is he now? Running around Europe with a well known PUA called Beckster, selling tiny bootcamps and making next to no money. A shame really as he was THE original guru. Some say he had a bad drug habit and had a kid, but it didn’t work out, but I’m not sure of the whole story.

Is it not more likely that the above edit is a vandalism? Franp9am (talk) 21:35, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
