editBut still needs more work. Could someone Google the area and try to find out more about its history, population, local amenities, etc? I have also deleted this paragraph for now as it is biased and I found it hard to gain any encyclopaedic information from it:
- Of historical interest to the Centennial Park area was always Hirons farm, which was the last refuge of the old way of life in downtown Toronto up until almost 1970. Once the Hirons farm shut down it was the end of the good old days for this neighbourhood. The variety of income levels and housing types and values ensures that this will remain a very multi cultural neighbourhood, which is one of the commonalities of the city of Toronto's many neighbourhoods.
