Taxonomy
editNotwithstanding the Worldchecklist, the evidence for including Erinna in Leucocoryne is flimsy, and morphological rather than phylogenetic. In fact there is very little research available. Its status is still considered uncertain. I will provide a detailed taxonomic history shortly. --Michael Goodyear (talk) 20:46, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- That's fine with me- controversies should always be discussed in the article rather than arbitrarily choosing one or another system. Further, assuming Erinna is still monotypic, it might be warranted to move this article to Erinna gilliesioides to remove the somewhat awkward parenthetical, as discussed at WP:MONOTYPICFLORA. Cheers. --Animalparty-- (talk) 23:22, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
