I respectfully request that you consider removing the template message at the top of this article about my late father Dr. Ernest Borek. If you review my contributions, you will see that nearly all are technical improvements to fix typos, punctuation, sentence structure, a wrong page number, indents, and the order of sentences, as well as to contribute a photo of my father.
The only exceptions are 1.) I added names and occupations of my siblings, which have since been removed from the Wikipedia article, 2) I added a quote about my father from an obit, which has since been removed from the Wikipedia article, and 3.) I updated my father’s contributions to RNA research, citing as the source NBC News and the October 1986 issue of “Trends in Biochemical Sciences.”
This last contribution is the only addition I have made beyond typographical corrections and a photo of my father remaining in the article. I am therefore far from being a major contributor. Thank you for your consideration and for Wikipedia's good work!KesslerRonald (talk) 16:45, 4 December 2023 (UTC)Ronald KesslerReply
