Economy
editI am adding to Economy section Trucks and Home Appliances, the two major products produced by Arçelik and Ford Otosan. These are the two of the well known plants run by private enterprise in the city. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kerem Ozgur (talk • contribs) 00:37, 9 December 2006 (UTC).

editEskisehir; city of youth...
Eskisehir is one of the well organized, developed and planned cities of Turkey. But i would like to mention that, it is not like the towns in US. It is naturaly established along the river called Porsuk. Eskisehir has two big universities which makes it a youth city. After Istanbul, Izmir or Antalya, you may think what can we do in Eskisehir? Probably not too many things; but if you are a teen or a middle age person who feels young you may enjoy with the people of Eskisehir. If you have a friend in Eskisehir, you better to visit him/her in soon.

editEskisehir; historical context.
I think a lot of research is needed in historical context. In the article is stated that Eskisehir is founded 1000 BC by the Phrygians. However this needs more coverage, for example.. what was their city's name? It's sure the Phrygians lived in this area with remains of settlements in the Eskisehir 'district'. However I doubt they have found Eskisehir as a city. A traceback leads to battles of Dorylaem, a city also mentioned to be the current Eskisehir. But according to other sources it was not on the current location. I know however there is an old classic map in the meerschaum museum at the Ottoman district of Odunpazari, which shows the history as a small but historically much newer ottoman settlement (including a mosque). This district is a more verifiable root of the city and the name of 'old city / Eski sehir was probably more inspired on the age of the district.
