Opening comment
editI suggest changing the title to "ethical purchasing groups". It's not exactly the same as "solidale" in Italian - the closest etymological equivalent in English is "solidary", but I don't think anyone ever uses the word. AFAIK there's no such word as "solidal" in English. I'm a native UK English speaker living in Italy, and I belong to one of these groups. Crabart (talk) 17:01, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Solidal purchasing groups → Ethical Purchasing Groups — See comment above. Solidal doesn't really say much.--Crabart (talk) 21:36, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I should have expressed myself more clearly: there is no pre-established, technically correct name in English to translate the name of these groups, which are an Italian phenomenon. The original article, including the title, was written by a non-native speaker from Italy, and unfortunately, in my opinion, he "anglicised" an Italian word which just doesn't work in English. I'm a professional translator from Italian into English, living in Italy, and an active member of one of these groups, and based on both my knowledge of Italian and my familiarity with the groups themselves, I think ethical is as close as we can get while sounding like we're speaking normal English. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crabart (talk • contribs) 21:43, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
