Medical ethics committees??
editThis page only deals with political ethics committees. But there are other areas that have them. Plse. expand. Thks. 99.11.160.111 (talk) 10:08, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
There needs to be a general ethics committee article
editThis page used to be the target for articles discussing ethics committees in general. Converting it to a dab page has caused a problem with linking in some articles. See my comments at Talk:Institutional review board#Retarget of Ethics committee page. SpinningSpark 15:08, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

edit@Spinningspark: Not disagreeing with your assertion at the edit summary,[1] but at the moment that particular person isn't mentioned in the article itself, so the image seems out of place. Suggest mentioning that particular person or otherwise expanding on that particular era, to make it more relevant to the article. François Robere (talk) 17:28, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- The article already says that the Nuremberg Code, the direct ancestor of all ethics committees, came directly out of the Nuremberg trials of Nazi doctors. I don't think we need to start listing the defendants at the trials to justify a picture of one of them being sentenced. SpinningSpark 17:46, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Made a small edit to better connect the image to the text.[2] François Robere (talk) 18:36, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
