Per the biography on the FIAP website Troilo was granted the rank of Captain on 28 February 1944. Does anyone know what was his final rank, though? A newspaper article announcing his appointment as prefect of Milan refers to him as a Major.^[1] The ANPI biography Domenico Troilo gives Domenico's rank as Major.
