Żak or Zak
editPolish version and other Polish texts show him as Zak, so I guess the Żak-writing is wrong. --Wistula (talk) 13:35, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose – no explanation given for the assertion "correct spelling". Dicklyon (talk) 04:34, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
- Why is it "correct"? Spumuq (talk) 15:16, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Speedy move. All four interwikis spell the artist's name as "Zak" (and Belarussian and Russian do have a letter Ж for "Zh/Ż"). More importantly, the correct Polish spelling is indeed "Zak", see the Polish monography dedicated specifically to him [1]. This culture.pl article uses Polish diacritics throughout, but also spells him as "Zak". Somebody apparently conflated him with common Polish surname Żak, but he's actually a Belarussian Jew. - Support. English sources tend to use "Zak" as well. — AjaxSmack 02:18, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support - "Ż" is not a part of the English alphabet, so WP:USEENGLISH Red Slash 00:59, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
