Inconsistent notation
edit- It should be Ey instead of of (E,q), (E,q) is not a tuple and the notation is inconsistent anyway.

are q ang y the same thing?
editq is used in (E,q) in the first section, but we don't see it later, and later y is used, although it's nowhere defined.
