Was the genus really named after the Greek general Eumenes?
editIsn't the genus name "Eumenes" to read literally ("the kindly one", like the euphemism used for the Erinyes) rather than to be referred to Eumenes of Cardia? I found no sources confirming that reference, while an important italian vocabulary said that the genus name comes "from scientific latin Eumenes, from greek εὐμενής, which means "the kindly one"".--Giovangotango (talk) 15:23, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
