Jwrosenzweig, if you read the information on the page, you'll see that Eunice is in fact worthy of this article. She was a great American pianist. The information I posted was indeed a bad copy and paste job, that I was trying to correct when you took it down. Please contact Norvard Recordings, and ask them if cbria@intercation.com had permission to post. You will find that I do.

Two comments, which I hope will be taken well. One is that I did not intend in any way to suggest that Ms. Norton was unworthy of an article: I only wished to note that I wasn't aware of her, and so had no idea whether or not an article should be written. I now am convinced she is worthy of an article, and am glad one has been written. The second is this: I detect a tone in the above paragraph (I hope I am mistaken) which suggests you feel I acted inappropriately. When I see a cut-and-paste article from an article on the Internet, and no indication by the author that the article has been released under the GFDL, I feel perfectly justified in removing it: far better that I do so (and post the appropriate text, etc.) than that I allow Wikipedia to violate the law while I determine the legitimacy of the posting. Furthermore, as you had posted it anonymously, I had no identifying information with which to contact the site you mention. If you submit such articles in the future (and I hope you will: they are nicely written and worthy additions to the site), please note immediately in the talk page the release under the GFDL to avoid such complications in the future. Thanks very much, Jwrosenzweig 21:44, 12 Sep 2003 (UTC)

This was my first attempt at adding to this encyclopedia. I was frustrated last night, because I spent some time learning and creating to make the entry look nicer, as I went to save, it had all been erased. I understand that you are looking out for the best interests of this site, and appreciate that, I am just learning how this site works. In the future, I will not post anonymously. I also appreciate the layout fixes and links (wikifying) that were put into the page. Thank you.

I've written to Norvard to confirm this. --Camembert

Thank you for checking on it, and fixing my text. -CB

I just got the reply back: the owners are aware of the implications of the GFDL, and it is indeed fine for us to copy this here. I'll copy here what the Mr. Dean Rea (Manager and Webmaster of Norvard Recordings, Inc.) wrote for reference:
Norvard Recordings has given permission to this individual to reproduce the contents of Eunice Norton's biography to other websites, including www.wikipedia.org. You may post the biography to Wikipedia. You also have our consent and permission to reuse material related to Norvard Recordings that is posted to Wikipedia.
So happy day, we can keep this. I'll go and wikify it a bit now. --Camembert
