The name of the university
editIt looks like someone has moved the article, as it is now at European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). However, this is a pretty senseless name in English, and it should logically be Viadrina European University, Frankfurt (Oder). This latter term is usually used by English-speakers within the Viadrina, but the main website uses the word-for-word translation of the German name (Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder)). I'm always reluctant to change page names, but I don't think the EUV has ever bothered to settle on an "official" English name, as there are several other variants in use, and so the ungrammatical translation that appears on their homepage seems to be most often used. Anyone else, especially those from within the EUV, have any thoughts on this? ProhibitOnions 18:03, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
One of the smallest?
editIs the university really one of the smallest in germany? The University of Lübeck e.g. has just 3000 students. I would vote for removing that statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.54.12.57 (talk) 21:56, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Audimax - Flachbau
editIt is written: "The Audimax building, known colloquially as the Flachbau ("flat building"), is a modernized GDR-era building that houses the university auditorium". I have never heard anyone callit Flachbau. It is rather simply referred to as "Audimax" or "AM". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alyxandra (talk • contribs) 00:08, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
