Were there earlier versions?
editAccording to CHESS magazine (Jan 89), Arnaud Payen won the European under 16 championship, held in Paris. The reference is very brief and leaves me undecided whether this occurred in 1988 or 1989. Brittle heaven (talk) 10:41, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- The German wikipedia has this championship. It was 1988, and apparently it was the only edition of the championship held before 1991.
Krystyna Dąbrowska won the girls section that year.Voorlandt (talk) 10:58, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
EYCC U8
editIs there any special reason for not adding EYCC champions under-8 to this page? Schachmat (talk) 08:10, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes they should be included. I think the reason why they are not there yet is that U8 category was only introduced recently (2010?), and most of the work on this page was done before that date. Regards, --Voorlandt (talk) 17:39, 31 March 2013(UTC)
- OK. I added U8 boys and girls (existing since 2010) Schachmat (talk) 13:26, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
