UN / EU

edit

how come it says in the first sentance: 'United Nations'.....shouldnt it be EU? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Plague of Death (talkcontribs) 13:26, 4 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Because it is the United Nations. The EU didn't exist when the initial agreement was made in 1950, and the EU has power only over its member countries and the EES countries, total 30 out of about 45 countries. -- BIL 13:21, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction

edit

Both A68 road and A1 road (Great Britain) claim that the E15 follows the A68 and the A696 from Edinburgh to Newcastle, contradicting this article. But I don't know what's correct, and the lists of E roads that I've found are not detailed enough to say, so I'll just note it here and hope that somebody else will know. //Essin (talk) 23:30, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Has article now been fixed? it reads as though it has. Robert EA Harvey (talk) 05:17, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
It was indeed changed in these edits, although no source was provided, unfortunately. //Essin (talk) 20:02, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Future of E-numbered UK roads post-Brexit

If you are interested in this and similar articles, please have a look at my query here and see if you would like to help. I don't think it needs saying everywhere but I am just mentioning it here because the E15 seems quite a significant example, and my GPS keeps telling me about it!
