- "held in Cannes, France, following" probably better to give us the date and venue here rather than drift into previous winner. Leave that for the next sentence.
- Create redirect at Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson Européenne 1959 since you've made it bold.
- "won in 1957" could link that year's article.
- Confusing having United Kingdom linked but heading to different targets in the lead. Make the piped links clearer.
- "The United Kingdom placed second, marking the first of a record sixteen second place finishes that the United Kingdom would go on to achieve, while France placed " repetitive UK, repetitive "place(d)".
- "at the 1958 edition with the song" where was that held?
- "and subsequently demolished in 1988.[4]" way outside the scope of this article.
- Lead "French television presenter" main body "French broadcaster" which?
- "platforms, with each platform segmented" repetitive, maybe "platforms, each of which was segmented"
- "musical experts" what's the definition of that?!
- "returning after a one year absence.[6] " why absent?
- "Denmark in the 1957 contest, performing" see above, link first time.
- "Crowds gathered at Schipol Airport for " sentence so full stop needed.
- Don't need leading zeros in the "Order" column.
- "conducted in reverse order to the order in which each country performed" again, repetitive, maybe "conducted in reverse order to which each country performed"
- "required to relay the contest via its networks" all networks??
- "are shown in the tables below" just one table there.
- Refs 24 and 25 need spaced hyphen to be replaced with en-dash.
- What makes diggiloo.net a WP:RS?
- Ref 13 missing parameters.
That's it for me. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 20:12, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for picking this up. I've gone through the whole list and made all the necessary changes. Please let me know if there is anything I have missed. Regarding diggiloo.net, the overall consensus that has generally been reached within WikiProject Eurovision is that the site is considered reliable for the languages of the contest entries. Going by WP:SOURCE this would fall under the class of an independent and published source, and although it is not a academic or peer-reviewed source as covered under this in many cases it can be compared with other fan-led sites which are used across the WikiProject Eurovision scope of articles on Wikipedia. Please do let me know if you have any further questions on this. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 21:21, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, cool, I've made a couple of minor format tweaks, but promoting. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 10:50, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
