Notability
editOK, so the article needs more references, but the guy co-founded blogger.com. I'll do some work if it requires it to avoid the ax.
- evan.williams+blogger: 243 Google News Archive results
- evan.williams+google: 187 results
- evan.williams+odeo: 93 results
- evan.williams+obvious: 164 results
- evan.williams+twitter: 13 results (more of a blog success at this point)
I don't quite see how this remotely qualifies for speedy, as it has an assertion of notability. The companies are all blue links and have been in existence for some time. --Dhartung | Talk 05:12, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Dhartung - Fair enough. I did not know this about him. If you could clean it up, that would be great.

The result of the move request was: moved to Evan Williams (Internet entrepreneur) (non-admin closure) Wbm1058 (talk) 00:55, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
Evan Williams (entrepreneur) → Evan Williams (entrepreneur, born 1972) – or perhaps Evan Williams (Internet entrepreneur). The current parenthetical disambiguation is inadequate to distinguish this entrepreneur from the entrepreneur who was a Kentucky pioneer that founded a whiskey distillery in the late 1700s. The second-best-selling Kentucky bourbon is named after the distiller, and his name also graces the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, a tourist attraction featured on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, so he has not faded into obscurity. Although there is no self-standing article about the historical entrepreneur, he is discussed in the Evan Williams (whiskey) article, which gets a few thousand page views per month (and per WP:DAB, having a self-standing article does not determine whether disambiguation is needed). - Support either option - plentiful notability for the bourbon entrepreneur in Google Books. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:22, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
- Note: Comma added above per WP:NCPDAB: "[[Name (qualifier, born YYYY)]]". —BarrelProof (talk) 05:08, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
- support internet entrepeneur only, adding birthyear isnt necessary, only type of work done.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:28, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support either - I prefer "born 1972", and I would hope that the subject expands to other things not connected to Internet. However, maybe this isn't his field because he is an internet man. --Gh87 in the public computer (talk) 19:00, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: We have consensus to move, and the very roughest consensus that it should be to Evan Williams (Internet entrepreneur). I think we should give the opportunity to consider this choice a little further. Andrewa (talk) 17:08, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- I agree that Evan Williams (Internet entrepreneur) seems best at this point. It seems like a much more helpful phrase, because hardly anyone will know his year of birth, but he is certainly well-known to fit the description of "Internet entrepreneur". —BarrelProof (talk) 03:28, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- No comments for nearly ten days and no disagreement. How about someone closing this? —BarrelProof (talk) 21:51, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
- Nothing but support has been expressed since the relisting comment more than three weeks ago. How about someone closing this? —BarrelProof (talk) 16:16, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

Which option
editPlease add below any additional thoughts, particularly on which of the two proposed names is to be preferred. Andrewa (talk) 17:08, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
