Advertising?
editThe previous article was full of advertisement, when I edit it, why did it get reverted by Discospinster? Are you on EVEREX's payroll as well? I use wikipedia all the time and there is nothing more I dislike than to have article tainted.
- Statements such as "Everex also pays employees to edit Wikipedia and other online sources to mislead consumers" do not belong in the article if there's nothing to back them up. If you have a beef with the company, take it up with them. ... discospinster talk 01:26, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
That was my later edit (unfounded of course), but don't you think the current article is disgusting with lines like "Everex is currently known for producing affordable computers for sale at Walmart, Best Buy, OfficeMax, NewEgg.com, TigerDirect.com and Circuit City."?????
Thank you for the edit.
- I've removed the word "affordable" and placed a notability tag on the article. There's also a tag requesting secondary sources (i.e. not just the company's web page). Readers and editors will thus be alerted to the article's shortcomings. ... discospinster talk 01:33, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
History
editA longer(trustworth) history can be found here: http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Everex-Systems-Inc-Company-History.html
- Rather than add it as an external link, please cite the source properly so that a footnote appears in the References section. You can use the example I added as a template. Thanks. -- Schapel 21:36, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

editIt would be helpful to show a small version of the company's logo. I found a page listing various sizes & formats for them, here: Everex Systems, Inc - Logos
replacement parts
editeverex does not sell replacement parts or stand by warrenties. Not even when the computer is only three weeks old. They tell you to return to store, but the store tells you once it's opened it's everexs problem. Then they say their going to get a supervisor for you to talk to and hang up on you. DO NOT BUY ONE !!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.212.226.206 (talk) 21:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
My VA4300 was out of warranty and needed a new DVD burner. Everex would not sell me one, said I had to send it in for repair at $100+. I bought a Samsung SN-S082H for $55 and it works fine - plug & play. Remove the keyboard and remove one screw to release deck, change front bezels (they snap out). I tried to post this on their forum, but the registration process is broken. I sent 2 emails about it, but had no response. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.175.230.58 (talk) 22:21, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Everex Dead?
editEverex.com appears to be frequently down. I say frequently conservatively as *every* visit I personally have made to everex.com and everexforums.com has resulted in "could not locate remote server" error. Also, dialing two of their telephone support numbers have connected but result in nothing more than silence. In other words the numbers are right, but whatever is running the system on their end is down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pieterkonink (talk • contribs) 20:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
MORE: Funny thing, I just called their listed corporate number, 510-687-9267, and it appears to be a cell phone which has been turned off. Is that odd, or is it just me? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pieterkonink (talk • contribs) 20:27, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Newmarket Technologies
editBased off an email from Newmarket I received, a letter of intent for purchasing Everex was signed, but was not approved. For privacy reasons I cannot disclose the email, but it is easy enough to verify if you visit www.newmarkettechnology.com and contact them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.13.29.96 (talk) 17:48, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
