External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Everything I Own. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090926030445/http://www.hmmawards.com:80/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=36&Itemid=88 to http://www.hmmawards.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=36&Itemid=88
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

History of the song
editThe song is surely composed by Bread. However, there is this song on the album "Black Scorpio" from The Savages, 1969 i guess. As far as I know Gates allowed a friend of him to play the song with his band. As Gates waited some years until the single was published, the Savage's version was already published. However, as singing a song from a friend, the Savages were so honorable not to cash in on this one. They played the song life and included it on their album but never did it as a single. Unfortunately sources for this are hard to come by, I can only give you this tale, no citable evidence - besides the album "Black Scorpio", of course. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.83.34.200 (talk) 09:46, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
