Merger proposal
editI feel like this would work well if integrated into the Evolution article. That page is very well written and this content would further support that. --Mblumber (talk) 01:26, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose: This article should be merged into Evolution of color vision in primates. This article only deals with primates, and the same editor created both pages which are pretty much exactly the same (under different usernames: User:Njt24 and User:Njtrivedi24). Any useful information should then be added to Evolution. Cheers, Jack (talk) 00:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've removed the tag as no consensus has been reached. I've also moved the page to a new title. Jack (talk) 09:20, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
- The topic has potential, but needs to be written to focus on colour vision very broadly with less emphasis on primates and mammals. Richard001 (talk) 01:52, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Mantis Shrimp
editI'm surprised there isn't a section on mantis shrimp and other species with more than four kinds of sensors, or with radically different mechanisms for perceiving color. -- Resuna (talk) 18:55, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
