I found the subject of your article very interesting in that I have never researched the aspects of the evolution of dog breeds and how diverse it is. The major changes I found necessary for your paper were formatting and sentence revision to improve the overall flow. The information was sound and I felt you accomplished the objective of educating those without prior knowledge of how the domesticated dog has evolved over the years. One comment I left at the end of the first paragraph was to possibly elaborate more into how selective breeding by humans has led to this directional expansion and evolution of various breeds. This will flow and provide a better transition when you go into detail about this later. Overall I enjoyed the article and found it to be an interesting read.

Development of dog breeds?

This article is titled "Evolution of dog breeds" but it has nothing to do with evolution. It is about human-directed breeding over the past hundred years. • Yes, support, but not convinced that there's much/any mergeable content here – it's based on a fundamental misconception (that breeds "evolve"), and is hardly encyclopaedic in tone. "Each breed of dog comes from all over the world and have characteristics that are unique to each individual"? What exactly does that mean? It appears to be a student essay, which has presumably by now been graded and has thus served its purpose. A redirect may be sufficient. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:34, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
