Cat eaters
editI read that these people eat cats, but I cannot find a RS to support this. Does anyone have one? 87.114.85.237 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 03:04, 7 December 2011 (UTC).
- This BBC article states "Cats are a culinary delicacy in some parts of Ghana" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-11179330 87.114.85.237 (talk) 03:11, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Specifically stating that they eat cats would be showing a western bias. Various cultures eat various things that other various cultures don't. JanderVK (talk) 21:38, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
Update: These people may or may not eat cats, not sure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:C6:CC80:1747:85A6:E875:58AE:ED25 (talk) 23:14, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
Ewe History / Religious Bias
editMajor problems with this section. Nothing at all is sourced, and many fantastic assertions are presented as fact. A long account is prefaced with the claim: "The Ewes of Togo, like other major African ethnic groups, descended from the Biblical Noah..." Made decision to excise this section. If something here can be sourced, even to put some of these claims into the folkloric claims of the locals (doubtful, as this is not an Abrahamic-identified group), please do and reinstate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iasonaki (talk • contribs) 00:29, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Did further web research on articles which presented same "facts" for Ewe history, and is a small self-referential circle of similarly unsourced articles, with no academic credentialling. Recommend a watch on page if further changes in this vein. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iasonaki (talk • contribs) 00:39, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
I also took the liberty of removing a brief section which stated the Ewe are biblical Hebrews. No reliable sources were used to back this assertion. Truerhistorian (talk) 23:40, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
I removed a creationist video that claimed these people originated from the Tower of Babel, founded egypt and other revisionist mythological tales. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.83.96.160 (talk) 22:56, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

edit@66.87.84.62: Why are you removing scholarly sources? Your deletion of sources and other edits appear to have no connection with your edit comment. Please explain and thereby help improve wikipedia. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 20:42, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
