This needs sourced discussion of the material, not just quotation. Some of the passages may in fact not need exact quotation. DGG ( talk ) 22:51, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

peer review

edit

After peer reviewing your article, I think you should try finding more information regarding each section of the act. Instead of just putting word for word what each section reads, explain what each means specifically, and the importance of each one. I think the amendments section could be expanded upon. Possibly add more information about Clinton's Order for the Federal Government. Also, you could look into specific cases relating to the Executive Order 11478. So far, I think you have made good progress on the article. Nice Work! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smit23am (talkcontribs) 18:30, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

amendments

edit

I'd suggest that amendments to this EO be summarized in a sentence here and the details of those later EOs moved to their own entries in wikipedia. This entry should be about this Executive Order 11478, not about Executive Order 11478 and all others that later amended it. It's particularly odd to have an image of Clinton when Nixon issued Executive Order 11478. And why should this be part of the LGBT project when it's only a later EO that adds sexual orientation? I made the changes now that classwork seems to have ended. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 22:37, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
